Altered Books

i have done an altered book before and i have to say that it was pretty cool, i made a palm tree and hut out of a surfing book. Terrilynn Quick gave some good insight about altered books and worked with us to give us a hand. Her books that she had displayed here nice to look at and allowed for ideas of my own. I decided this time to do something a little different than the other altered book i made, Grace, James and I just finished this art project that we did some painting in. I was still inspired by the technique we used, that i applied it to these altered books that i covered with in paint. Last time i took the contents of the surfing book and related it to the result, this time i tried to make something different, not necessarily relevant to the content of the pages with in.
