Tom Scott
In the few minutes that we briefly went over Tom Scott it took no longer than the first couple of images to be intrigued. I spend a lot of the time at the beach and have often seen the sand make some pretty wonderful abstractions and thought nothing of it. It's nice to see what other people like Tom Scott see when they look at these images in the sand. What is interesting about Scotts photographs is that when the thought of abstract images comes along I get a sense of busyness;a lot of things going on in your mind because its abstract, but the sand just being as it is has this calmness and subtlety to it. It's a nice contrast.
