Artura Herrera

What I like about Arturo Herrera is that he uses chance to create his pieces and it seems like he has a deep appreciation for the process of creating his piece before actually arriving at the final piece, process over product. This reminds me about the DADA artists and the Beats artists. He talks about ambiguity and how "life is made of just connecting things." I really like his idea of chance and his collages, with chance comes these abstractions that he produces and leaves open ended for his viewers, but stills holds them close to him for their meaning towards him.
