I thought that the video clip on David Carson was pretty funny. He seems like a real person if you know what I mean. I like how when he looked at words, he wasn't just looking at what the word was saying, but at the lines, or actual type face. Line is one of the most important aspects of art, and it very expressive. His art work seems to have a lot of different typefaces creating many ideas that will stray from viewer to viewer. Regular typefaces are boring with no character, but David Carson shows that using expressive typefaces can create a world of different feelings and attitudes towards the given piece, or anything for that matter. David Carson obviously thinks out of the box when he decides to use indecipherable font that would mean nothing to anyone, but his meaning as the artist would actually be achieved because when he was reading whatever article he was reading, he thought that it was boring and not memorable, thus he re-wrote it the way he saw it, and expressed it for everyone to see. David Carson definitely created his own spot with jumbling different typefaces together.
